Consider the following scenario:   Your children return to your care after spending a few days with their other parent.  Your son informs you that he has left his mobile phone at the other parent’s home.  You’re angry, because this sort of thing has happened before.  You ring the other parent and launch into a verbal tirade about being a responsible parent, and the need to ensure that the child/ren return with all of their belongings.  The other paren searches their home and tells you that the mobile phone isn’t there.  You say, “That’s typical.  You can’t even be bothered to look properly” and then you hang up.  You are fuming.  Minutes later your son comes in and cheerily says, “I found it.  It was in the pocket of my other pants”.     What should you do?
